Kids learn best through active, hands-on fun.  That’s what your child will experience in YMCA Afterschool Programming.  Homework help, a snack, engaging physical activities, and connecting with friends in a safe, nurturing environment — all this and more is waiting for your child at the YMCA.

This school year the YMCA will be running afterschool programming at 2 sites, each designed to fit the needs of our community.  Our main site, located at our Central Facility YMCA (1701 Gillionville Rd) will house ages 5-14 Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:00 pm.  Our second site, our Y.E.S. is our inclusive YMCA at Easter Seals program designed for children with special needs ages 5-17 and is open Monday-Friday from 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm.   The YMCA also picks up from the Lee County School System and transports those students to our 2 afterschool sites.  For more information on each site and program specifics, please see the “I’m interested in _____program” below.

Financial Assistance is available for those who qualify. We are a CAPS-approved provider and we do accept CAPS payments. If applying for CAPS you must first provide us with your CAPS certificate or bring your CAPS provider rate sheet to the Albany Branch.
