Registration Dates:  February 13 - February 27

Ages:      2-4 (August 1, 2011)

Price:      Member:  $45            

                Non Member: $65

Locations:  Sports Park, and Central YMCA   

                    (Lee County depends on number of participants) 

 

 

 

YMCA Itty Bitty Sports:  Soccer, Baseball & Basketball

Players paricipate in an instructional setting emphasizing skill learning, team work, and building self-esteem while reinforcing the postivie values of Respect, Responsibility, Caring and Honesty. 

 

 

6 WEEKS of FUN! 

The YMCA Itty Bitty Sports program will run for 6 weeks.  The session is broken into 2 weeks of exciting soccer, 2 weeks of basketball and 2 weeks of baseball.  Each week will hold 2 practices of 45 minutes each, and then scrimmage games on Saturdays.  Fundamentals will be taught by coaches and parents.    Entire families are encouraged to join the fun.

Basic Fundamental for Everyone

This program introduces each participant to the sports of basketball, baseball and soccer.  Itty Bitty sports is a parent/child program meaning parents will participate with their child(ren) each week.  The YMCA is among the first youth sports league to specifically encourage both boys and girls to play. 

 

WE NEED YOU!

VOLUNTEER COACHES

Without the assistance of volunteer coaches, the YMCA could not operate youth sport programs.  Parents, friends, siblings are encouraged to sign-up to help.  Experience is not neccessary at this age.  YMCA staff will train all coaches on policies and procedures.
